Smooth Bedtimes

I don't think there could have been a smoother bedtime than tonight. We brushed Timothy's teeth, and knelt down next to his bed for prayers. After we finished praying he asked to pray again and said the prayer himself. After an enthusiastic "Amen" he started to try to climb into his bed. Allan usually asks him if he wants to go to bed or read stories and he always wants to read stories. But, tonight we asked him if he wanted to go to bed and he said "yes." As he was trying to climb into his bed he said "help you" which really means "help me." So, we helped him get into bed and he layed down nicely and we told him we loved him and shut the light off on the way out. Can it get any smoother than that?
